mBillionth Award Winner in m-Banking

The Kumari Mobile Cash was awarded mBillionth Award in the m-Business & Commerce/Banking category for 2011.

The award was distributed by Ministry of States for Commerce and IT of India, Mr. Sachin Pilot, in a ceremony organized at New Delhi on July 23, 2011. This award was presented in 12 different categories - m-Inclusion, m-Travel & Tourism, m-Infrastructure, m-Health, m-Entertainment, m-Education & Learning, m-Governance, m-Business & Commerce/Banking, m-Environment, Juniors' Distinctions, Most Innovative and Most Promising. The program was attended by 600 delegates from 200 different mobile and telecom companies from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Afghanistan.

Mobile Cash was the only product wining this award from Nepal for 2011.

In 2010, Nepal Wireless, a company promoted by Mr. Mahabir Pun, had won this award in m-Inclusion category.
